METRORG (Organic Metropolis) is a research project aiming to represent an urban environment in 3D using visual and sonic objects that are abstract and dynamic.

My mission was to research dynamic 3D shapes and laws of behavior / growth for them to develop into structures evoking an urban landscape.

This landscape is built from dynamic audio-graphic objects (bricks). The space is divided into regions determining the streets and the perimeters of the buildings. Each parcel emits an energy flow which models a building by generating bricks in a vertical direction.

The presence of the players in this world temporarily influences the shape and sound of the bricks as they pass through.

Internship at Orbe.
